Equipment Booking System (EBS)
There has been ongoing maintenance and support for our internal Equipment Booking System (EBS), which is used to schedule audio-visual equipment deliveries and to reserve internal resources (such as our TV and sound studios).
Work on the EBS was relatively light in 2003/04. The most significant change to the software was to improve the code that checks for available equipment and reserves it for a given order. These changes improved the efficiency of the reservation and also fixed a number of errors that were occurring in the reservation process.

Invoicing (IBS)
There have been only minor fixes and support requests related to this system in 2003/2004.  Typically, support requests are related to a bug report caused by a unique data entry. These are usually small in nature and are corrected quickly.

Film & Video Booking
The Film and Video Booking System is an application used by faculty to order films and videos from University holdings as well as holdings of other institutions in the InterFilm consortium.
There were no significant changes made to the Film/Video system this fiscal year.
