Equipment Status

The Centre for Flexible Learning has two multimedia labs.  The Faculty lab in room 2103 contains twelve workstations.  The Multimedia Language & Learning Lab in room G125 contains thirty-six workstations.

New headsets with microphones were purchased for G125 lab in 2003.

Preparations are underway for a system upgrade for the DHCP server for the 200 subnet used by both labs and others in CFL and HELC.  The upgrade is planned for July, 2004.

A site license was purchased for Deep Freeze.  This software is designed to restore computer systems to a standard configuration state each time they are started.

There are a few machines in G125 that have technical problems that will be looked at much closer at the end of the Winter semester.
